Leadership Team

Laura is a 35-year industry veteran who has held leadership positions with both bank-owned and independent mortgage companies, overseeing all aspects of mortgage banking. She joined Lennar Mortgage in 2002 as Branch Manager, was promoted to Senior Vice President managing the Eastern Region in 2004, and became Executive Vice President in 2016, overseeing operations and production of the Builder Division. Laura was named President of Lennar Mortgage in 2018.

Laura has been nominated to serve as the 2023 Vice Chair of the Mortgage Banker Association (MBA). She serves on several advisory boards and committees, including MBA’s 2021-2022 Board of Directors; as Co-Chair of MBA’s IMB Executive Council; and as Vice Chair of the Mortgage Action Alliance. She is also a member of the MORPAC Steering Committee; Fannie Mae AHAC; Freddie Mac Advisory Board; NAHREP; NAMMBA Visionary Ambassador; and United Way’s chapter –Women United.

Laura is on the MBA Opens Doors Foundation’s Board of Directors and is very active in her local community in South Florida, showing support and volunteering through organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. She is also a licensed mental health counselor and devotes much of her time to working with underprivileged women and minorities.

As the Executive Vice President of Production at Lennar Mortgage, David is responsible for the strategic development of our sales organization nationally.

He joined the company in 2003 as a loan officer and has held roles including Division Manager, Senior Vice President, and President of a retail joint venture. David was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2018. David is actively involved with the Mortgage Bankers Association on the national and local levels, Mortgage Action Alliance, and MORPAC.

David was raised in the Seattle area where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Washington. He resides with his wife in the Tampa area.

As the Chief Information Officer at Lennar Financial Services, Tom has helped lead Lennar Mortgage to an almost fully digital platform. Tom has 30+years of Information Technology experience and has held senior leadership positions for mortgage lenders and technology vendors for over 20 years. Tom works closely with key members of the senior management in production and operations to integrate and align technology and digital assets with strategic business needs.

Prior to joining the company in 2005, Tom held several senior leadership positions in the finance and healthcare sectors. Heis a member of the MBA Residential Technology Council and the CIO Council of South Florida. Tom is a recipient of many awards including the 2021 Tech Trendsetter by HousingWire.com.

A New York native, Tom enjoys traveling with his wife and four boys. His outdoor interests include day sailing, biking, golf, and tennis.

As the Chief Risk and Legal Officer, Patti oversees the Legal, Compliance, Quality Assurance, Corporate Risk Management, and Governance functions. Patti joined Lennar Mortgage in 2018 as part of Lennar’s merger with CalAtlantic Homes, where she was the Associate General Counsel of Financial Services. Patti has over 23 years of experience advising financial services and real estate clients, including serving as General Counsel of a publicly traded REIT and holding increasingly senior roles at Fortune 500™ companies. Patti began her legal career at national law firms.

Patti is a strong advocate of inclusion and diversity in every aspect of her personal and professional life. She strives to ensure that diverse backgrounds and opinions are given platforms and opportunities in classrooms, board rooms, and on the field. Patti has focused her volunteer efforts on Special Olympics, Dress for Success skills training, and undergraduate and law student mentorships. Patti has especially enjoyed being able to further embed that mentality of inclusion as part of Lennar’s Fair Housing and Fair Lending efforts.  

As the Senior Vice President of Secondary Marketing, Doug is responsible for Products, Pricing, Investor Relations, Interest Rate Risk Management, Trading, and Post-closing. He began his mortgage banking career in 1985 and has worked in a capital markets capacity since 1991. Doug has been a part of the Lennar Mortgage Family since 2007 and his team is responsible for average annual Secondary Market loan sales of $13 billion. Doug is passionate about providing the Products and Pricing to support Lennar homebuyers with “The Simplest Path to Homeownership.”

Doug received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley University. He is a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and enjoys spending time with his daughters, Amanda and Carly. He calls Cape Cod one of his favorite places to visit.

As the Senior Vice President of Operations with Lennar Mortgage, Doug is responsible for the mortgage fulfillment operations of the company. He has been leading mortgage operations for over 15 years. His leadership and experience have been centered around implementing technology-driven efficient process flows focusing on delivering excellent customer service.

Doug has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Finances from the University of South Florida. In his personal life, Doug enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and golfing. Doug has been active with the Mortgage Bankers Association on the national and local levels.
